Fundraising
Utilizing gold parties for fundraising is a great opportunity for organizations such as churches, social clubs, humane societies, etc. to raise money during these trying economics times. By taking the gold party approach the organization is not asking for an individual to donate part of their income but to turn in items that are lying around the house. The donor will receive value for their participation as well as provide a donation to the organization hosting the event. Here is how it works:
Hosting
Determine a location to host the event and how you are going to get the word out. You can increase the amount of money raised at the event by increasing the attendance. Making sure the event is publicized is important.
Fundraiser
Participants bring in their unwanted gold items for evaluation. Aqua Owl Gold will test for gold content (Karat) and weigh the items to determine their value. Typical to fundraising events, 10% of the value of the gold sold will be deferred to the organization. This deferral is in addition to the increased host amount for fundraising events of 15%. Fundraising events earn 25% of the value of gold sold at the event. Aqua Owl Gold will also honor the referral fee for any parties that are booked during the fundraising event (once the referred gold party occurs and the party attendees sell at least $1,000 of gold). For example, if we purchase $10,000 worth of gold the charity will receive $1,500 from Aqua Owl Gold as well as the $1,000 match from the donors for a total of $2,500. Donors will also be given the opportunity to donate a larger percentage of their gold if they choose. Of course nobody is obligated to sell their gold.

their income.
